NINJIO Completes SOC 2 Type 2 Examination of the NINJIO Commercial Platform

October 20, 2026

An independent audit firm tested how NINJIO’s security controls operated over a three-month period, giving customers third-party evidence about the platform they rely on.

NINJIO, the cybersecurity company behind story-driven training based on real-world attacks, has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination of the NINJIO Commercial Platform. The examination was performed by Insight Compliance LLC (dba Insight Assurance), an independent audit firm, against the Security Trust Services criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

A SOC 2 Type 1 report looks at whether controls are suitably designed at a single point in time. A Type 2 report adds a test of time: The auditor examines whether those controls operate effectively throughout a defined period. NINJIO’s examination covered March 15 through June 14, 2026.

Security and procurement teams ask the same question about every vendor: How do we know the controls are real? The SOC 2 Type 2 report answers it with an independent auditor’s findings instead of vendor assurances.

“We teach people to pause, check the details, and trust what’s been verified. Our customers should be able to hold us to that same standard,” said Matt Lindley, Chief Innovation & Information Security Officer at NINJIO. “Every organization that chooses NINJIO is trusting us with its people, from the security leader who signs off on the vendor review to the employee who logs in to watch an episode. We take that seriously, and this report is one way we show it.”
