Every once in a while, we hear a story that tugs at the heartstrings so hard that we have to do something about it. At the beginning of 2017, a major law enforcement agency informed us about an epidemic of real estate wire fraud. Officials simply couldn’t keep up with the number of homebuying scams happening, and their roadshow events weren’t enough to reach everyone who needed to be reached. After a couple of meetings to better understand this epidemic, we went to work on an episode that would be our very first public service announcement.
